Periodic Process and Calculation – Group Definition – Program

Overview

PAPUGRDF.cbl is used by the Periodic Process and Calculation processes to resolve the applicable Definition timeline for a particular Function Result.  The Employee data are evaluated for a particular Function Result Result’s Effective Date, Group Definitions, Group Precedence, Time Segments, and Eligibility Timelines to determine which, if any, Definitions apply and for what time periods.  In the special case of a Plan Eligibility Function Result, dynamic sql maybe constructed to explore historical values for database aliases if configured using the History checkbox in the applicable Plan Eligibility Definition.
