Standalone Duration Calculation – Executable RemoteCall Program

Overview

PAPCRDUR.cbl computes a duration between two dates using a Duration Option defined on the Plan Aliases page.  It is optionally executed by Remote Call from PeopleCode when a calculate button is pressed on the Service Adjustment and  Employee Accounts pages.  Remote Call COBOL runs on the Application Server and not through the Process Scheduler.  The compiled COBOL directory is defined in the Application Server configuration file, and the location may differ from the compiled COBOL directory defined in the Process Scheduler configuration file.
