Alias Cross References – Executable RemoteCall Program

Overview

PAPUXREF.cbl is called to update Alias Cross References tables.  It is executed using a Remote Call from PeopleCode when the Build XREF button is clicked on the Alias Cross Reference Page, PA_ALIAS_XREF.  Remote Call COBOL runs on the Application Server and not through the Process Scheduler.  The compiled COBOL directory is defined in the Application Server configuration file, and the location may differ from the compiled COBOL directory defined in the Process Scheduler configuration file.
